David Fox was born in London, England, studied at Wimbledon School of Art and at St Martin’s School of Art before moving to New York in the 1980s. He is a cross-disciplinary visual artist who works in painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture and photography. He’s known for his figurative works and his strong drawing which carries through a broad range of subjects and styles. As a playwright, two of his plays have been produced. His play “Self Portrait”, a political drama about the interrogation of a dissident, was performed at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art and “What’s on Your Mind” was performed at the Turtleshell Theatre in New York City.
