Brent Felker

Brent Felker is a Kingston-based video and digital artist. After attending California Institute of the Arts for Theatre, he began creating video works in 1999.  His early work focused on dance, and includes several award winning dance films. Since 2007 he has pursued a more abstract style, fashioning video loops as part of found object sculptures and digital prints. Abstracting from organic sources, he uses the human body, cycles and other natural phenomena as seeds. His work has been exhibited globally at such venues as the Cannes Film Festival and Governors Island Art Fair.
