Rosendale base artist,  Betty Ann Robbins Greenwald is featured in the Ten Aritst program  at Green Kill. She’s on exhibit from March1 to March 27, 2017.

Betty Ann Robbins Greenwald has been involved with creating visual images and sculptures most of her life.  Her parents, both artists, put her in art classes from a very young age.   As a teen she worked with established NYC  artists, studying painting,  and  sculpture.   At 15, Betty was carving stone. wood,  and shaping clay,  studying in adult classes.

She received a BFA from SUNY New Paltz, and Master Credits from Bard, studying both painting and photography.

Her heart is in painting.  Betty’s work is about the abstract energy in life. She creates energy with form and color, referencing the psychic energies of the subconscious.
