Green Kill is call or the Green kill Performance Program to actors, playwrights, songwriters, comedians and other performers who are really interested in showcasing their art; Green Kill is not a bar space, rather it’s a cultural space. If you want to just create noise, Green Kill it’s not the right place for you.
What physically differentiates Green Kill from other cultural venues is it’s intimate accommodating interior for performances and exhibitions, with 11 foot ceilings and wooden floors, and clean white interior which can hold up to 40 people. Seating includes chairs tables and stools with cabaret tables.
For performance, Green kill has a modular stage composed of two 4 x 8′ rolling units which can be configured to make a 4 x 16′ or 8 x 8′ arrangement, a high end state-of-the-art video system, a PA system, four floor mounted LED spots. a ceiling mounted LED wash light system with wireless control, a stand mounted theater spot, and an adjustable curtain track system which forms a proscenium.
A maximum audience of 40 can relaxing environment which included 6 cabaret tables, a couch and folding chairs.
There is a second room in behind the performance room where the bathroom is located which is an extension of the gallery space during exhibition hours and can serve as a greenroom for performers.
Ticket sales at the door and on line at Eventbrite.com are used to help cover costs for maintenance, electricity, taxes, insurance, and other operating costs. The foremost objective must be to underwrite operating costs so that Green Kill can be sustained.
Green Kill takes 50 percent of total proceeds the the performers take 50 percent.
Ticket price is negotiated between Green Kill and the performer.
The process is open and organic with a focus on inclusion of exceptional outsider and established performers dedicated to the evolution of their work.

Performers are promoted on social media, including the @229Greenkill Facebook page and through @229Greenkill events pages, the @GreenKillUsers Twitter page, the Green Kill Google+ page, and the Green Kill Tumblr page.
In addition, all posts on greenkill.org are sent out to its 1000 plus subscribers.
Performers are promoted on Kingston Happenings and Art Mid-Hudson web sites, by press releases sent to the Kingston Daily Freeman and the Kingston Times. The Green Kill Broadsheet promotes the individual programs at Green kill and often feature spots to participating Green kill performers. The Green kill Broadsheet is distributed in Kingston, New Paltz, Saugerties, and Woodstock.

The Green Kill Activities Schedule on greenkill.org lists scheduled performers by month and by space section. If there is no listing, the space the space and period is available.

Performers must cover costs bringing equipment to Green Kill.
