Imagine a world where a soulless, robotic race and a corrupt politician on the rise vie for control of the earth’s refuse, and all that is left of its depleted civilizations. This setting is the backdrop for the struggles of two young men contending with tyranny in Emerging Man, a short play by Joanne Pagano Weber. The piece incorporates sculpture now on view at Green Kill by Janice Mauro, continuing her long collaboration with Pagano Weber, about the effects upon the human soul of an earth ravaged by greed.
