About Ted Barron
These photographs––from the mid-eighties thru the mid-nineties––are like a tiny roadmap of my early years in New York City. Manhattan, for me, existed mostly below 14th Street, and later, I reluctantly moved one subway stop across the East River into Brooklyn. Usually working close to home, It was on those streets, and in those communities that I found my subjects.
