Announcing the 2020 March Art Exhibition at Green Kill. A selection paintings of Robert Tomlinson will be on exhibition from Saturday, March 7 to Saturday, March 28 with an opening celebration on Saturday, March 7 from 5 pm – 7 pm. Best viewing hours are 3 pm to 5 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Green Kill hours are 3 pm – 9 pm Tuesday – Saturday.
The Green Kill March 2020 Exhibition will include Eric Archer, Barbara Kroll, Tom Romeo, and Robert Tomlinson.
About Robert Tomlinson
Robert Tomlinson has conducted his own studio practice for over 35 years. In 2011 he co-founded 13 Hats, a group of artist and writers that collaborated for two years on a wide range of creative projects and exhibitions. His work has been featured in 35 solo shows and over 50 group exhibitions. Tomlinson served as executive director and curator for The San Jose Institute for Contemporary Art, Gallery One Visual Arts Center and the Oregon Arts Alliance. He has curated and installed over 100 exhibitions and created a gallery for the developmentally disabled. He is currently the Director & Curator of the Kaaterskill Gallery for the Catskill Mountain Foundation in Hunter, NY.
Prior to moving to Catskill, NY, Tomlinson served on the board for the newly formed, Ash Creek Arts Center, which he helped to start. He was co-founder & co-editor for the arts & literary quarterly journal, Picture Sentence. He was the “Artist Vision” curator for the Lake Oswego Arts Festival in 2015 and 2016. Tomlinson hosts a monthly radio show, Remarkable People, on WIOX (Roxbury, NY). He is also the co-founder & host of the monthly poetry reading at 374 Main St. in Catskill and sits on the exhibitions committee for Greene County Council for the Arts.
Tomlinson works closely with the Village Trustees on issues like affordable housing, trash & composting and reducing our carbon footprint. He is the founder of 500 x 10, which is working with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 500 trees a year for 10 years in the Village of Catskill, NY.
