About High Low Duo

Screen Shot 2019-10-24 at 5.48.50 PM.png

High Low Duo take the twangy electric guitar sounds of the fifties and sixties to some unexpected places. Guitarists Cameron Greider and Jack Petruzzelli play original surf and western swing instrumentals, inspired by Chet Atkins and Duane Eddy, but they also venture into classical music. Their forthcoming debut CD, featuring Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite and Bartok’s Violin Duos, makes a good case for the electric guitar as a classical instrument, capable of the range of expression and colors needed to bring these pieces to life.

About Joel Lambdin

Violinist Joel Lambdin’s interests range from free improvisation to heavy metal, and from Bach to new music. He is equally comfortable on the pop and rock stage as with an orchestra, and is a Teaching Artist for Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Karen Waltuch

Karen Waltuch is best known as a violist and professional gardener about NYC. She has worked with Tony Conrad, Natalie Merchant, Wilco, Tyondai Braxton, Reps and many other esteemed musicians.
