About  “Summoning Kisses”

April-NAC_0155-2-EditOur collaboration began on a whim and gradually developed over time to evoke sentiments of emotional desires and erotic flirtations that are at the heart of sensual relationships. Some times the poems came first and some times the photographs. Unavoidable is the gaze whether one looks upon another or looks inwardly, the looking reveals a part of what is being sought and hopefully seen.

Desire without clinging and attachment seems to be the goal that can permit us to experience our senses tenderly and fully. We wade in these pages with the possibility of evoking longed for moments of true intimacy and depth of feeling. Overriding it all is a spontaneous creativity coming directly from our imaginations, and a strongly held sense that the erotic is liberating.

“Summoning Kisses,” as we have written it, takes you on a non-linear journey filled with contradictory emotions, humor, playfulness, and irreverence while suggesting deeper emotions often difficult to express. It’s a book to gift and take to bed with your lover. Read it or just look at the pictures.
